The Lenart and Bald families were joined in 1982, with the marriage of Ray and Joyce in Naperville. Both Ray and Joyce have been active in the Naperville community since the 1970's - Ray with the original Bank of Naperville (now Harris Bank Naperville) and Joyce with her interior design firm, Trend Design Associates.
Ray's community service work included the boards of the YMCA, Boy Scouts of America, School Dist. 203 Foundation and the Carillon Foundation, as well as the Sunrise Rotary Club and Lion's Club.
Joyce contributed her service work to the boards of the Chamber of Commerce, Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, the Rotary Club of Naperville, as well as the Naperville Central Interact Club.
Kristen and Craig Bald both graduated from Naperville Central in 1982 and 1986 respectively. Kristen received her degree from Indiana University. She and Riley McGirk have two daughters - Kathryn, 6 and Allie, 3. Craig's degree is from the University of Illinois, with a Masters from Northwestern's Kellogg School. Both are consultants in their respective fields in the Chicago area.
Jennifer Lenart graduated from East Leyden High School, receiving her degree from Northern Illinois and her Masters from Benedictine University. She is a consultant with an Elmhurst firm. Kevin graduated from Naperville Central, and then received both a Bachelor and Master's degree from University of Iowa. He completes the "consulting" offspring, working for a firm in Cleveland.
Joyce and Ray moved to Florida in May of 2000, but continue to maintain ties to and a presence in Naperville. Work with both Rotary Clubs, the Dist. #203 Foundation and the Carillon Foundation will continue to receive our support for years to come. Naperville has been the perfect place to raise a busy family, and we will all enjoy it in the future.
