The Darfler family came from the Yorkville area; the Langhers (Mrs D) from Norway. All four children were born here in Naperville, and except for son Bart, are scattered about the US. The family has always participated in community activities. From the first benefit for Edward Hospital in the '50s, over 20 years of dedicated service to Little Friends, The Heritage Society, Sesqui-Centenial Riverwalk dedication, Farmers Plaza, and Farmers' Pig Roast. Plus service to churches of all faiths and devotion to the P.E.O. and 4H- the Darflers are proud of their heritage and are pleased to have played a part in the growth of this city. |
