Our family story begins in Greencastle, Indiana, where we met as sophomores at DePauw University in the fall of 1948. We were married six years later, upon Joe's return from service in the Korean War, and had four children, all sons.
Joe enjoyed a 34 year career with USG Corporation, retiring from an executive management position in 1987. Ginny(Kibbler) has long been an active volunteer, providing service and leadership to a number of community organizations.
Bob, Dave, Mike and Tom were raised in Napercville, as were two of our daughters-in-law, Nancy (Ondracek) and Lisa (Pitner). Bob, Dave and Tom's families all live in Naperville, and Mike and Lynn (Cheney) live in Chicago. We treasure having them all so close.
Bob is a manager with a computer software company. Nancy is a special education administrator in District 204. They have three sons, Jim (16), Joe (14) and Brett(11).
Dave is a partner in a Chicago law firm, specializing in estate planning. Amy (Haase) is also an attorney, but is currently concentrating on being a full-time mom to their children, Rebecca (7) and Eric (4).
Mike is a partner in one of the Big 5 accounting firms. Lynn, also a CPA, is a financial manager for a Chicago corporation. (Their 1997 wedding is pictured.)
Tom is an attorney/business planner for a midwest bank. Lisa is a veterinarian for a nearby animal hospital. They have a daughter, Emma (2).
As a family, we have always enjoyed participating in many facets of Naperville's community life, from church activities to service organizations to youth sports (especially swimming).
We pray that the Lullo families that follow in future generations will find a Naperville as we know it today (2000) in which to live and raise a family! |
