Russell R. Breitwieser

Russell R. Breitwieser Family, Easter Sunday 1965.

RUSSELL R. BREITWIESER AND ADRENNE A. (STAKEMILLER) BREITWIESER (deceased 1986) were both born here in Naperville in 1935 and 1937.We were preceded by our ancestors who had immigrated to the United States from Germany, Poland and Ireland in the 1880's.

We both attended the Naperville Public Schools and began dating in 1951. After graduating from Naperville Central High School in 1953 and 1955 we married on May 28, 1956. We raised three daughters in Naperville. Catherine L. (Johnson) born in 1957, Karen L. (Ostermeier) born in 1961 and Constance L. (Systo) born in 1964. All are married and we have five grandchildren. Katie M. Johnson in 1982, Hillary A. Johnson in 1984, Eric "Michael" Ostermeier in 1991, Kevin S. Ostermeier in 1993 and Kelly A. Systo in 1995.

We started Bright Rug Cleaners in 1957 expanding in 1968 into a full service rug and dry cleaners, Russell's Dry Cleaners, Inc. which we still own and operate at 41 W. Jefferson Street in downtown Naperville.

Growing and prospering in a community such as ours for more than five generations has been a rare opportunity that few families may have and being apart of it has made us very proud.
