Multimedia Time Capsule - $250,000

A professional media firm has been hired to create a multi-media presentation to welcome visitors to the Millennium Carillon. Located in the visitor's center, a large-screen presentation will overview significant events in Naperville in the year 2000 as well as tell the story of the creation of the Millennium Carillon. Free standing Kiosks will access all of the text, data, and photo materials submitted by residents who subscribe to the time capsule. The concept of an "interactive time capsule" is in keeping with the project's focus on being useful, lively and a place for teaching and learning, as well as being a commemorative and a center for performing arts.
